2006 Petite Sirah

Nearly black color, hints of dark red at the edge of the glass. Beautiful, rich, dark fruit just touched with oak, with a meaty quality lurking behind it. Concentrated and plush, with loads of berry fruits, but keeps a savage aspect that helps it live up to its name and its varietal. Plenty of acidity, well balanced and elegant with plenty of tannins.
